Eagle Beach, Palm Beach or Baby Beach: Which Suits You?
Updated October 28, 2026 · 5 min read
Choose Eagle Beach for space and a classic beach day, Palm Beach for facilities and activity, and Baby Beach for a sheltered, shallow lagoon. None is best for everyone, and the distance between the hotel area and Baby Beach matters more than many first-time visitors expect.
Eagle Beach: room to slow down
Eagle Beach has a wide sweep of sand, clear water and Aruba’s recognisable fofoti trees. It feels less built-up than Palm Beach, although shade is limited and public palapas are not private reservations. Marked turtle nests must be left undisturbed.
Palm Beach: easiest without a plan
Palm Beach puts restaurants, hotels, piers and water-sports operators close together. That convenience also makes it the busiest of the three. Pick it when your group wants different activities without driving elsewhere.
Baby Beach: shallow water, longer journey
Baby Beach curves around a generally calm, shallow lagoon and is the clearest family choice. Stay inside the sheltered area and judge conditions on the day; the water near the opening is not the same as the shallows. If you would rather avoid organising transport, the beach-hopping snorkelling trip combines Baby Beach with Mangel Halto from €51.22. For a single relaxed day near the main hotel zone, choose Eagle Beach.
