Aruba Island Tour: California Lighthouse, Alto Vista and Natural Bridge
Updated October 28, 2026 · 5 min read
A half-day island tour is worthwhile when you want Aruba’s north-side landmarks without navigating between them or spending a full day off the beach. The 4-hour tour from Oranjestad starts at €49.43 and lists the aloe factory, California Lighthouse, Alto Vista Chapel, Casibari Rock Garden and Natural Bridge.
Three names, three different stops
California Lighthouse is the panoramic stop; climbing the tower carries a separate current admission, so check whether entry is part of your booking. Alto Vista is a small chapel and a quiet cultural stop rather than an attraction that needs a long visit. At Natural Bridge, the famous large arch collapsed in 2005. You see its remains and the smaller intact Baby Bridge, not the original span shown in old photographs.
Guided tour or self-drive?
Choose the guided tour if nobody wants to drive, you have limited time or you value the commentary. Choose self-drive if you want longer at Casibari or the coast. Ordinary roads reach these landmarks; this is not the same access problem as the rough track to the Natural Pool. The guided tour’s weakness is its schedule: five stops in four hours means a taste, not a deep visit. For a first overview, the half-day island tour is the practical choice.
